Sprint - Burnet Woods : Saturday, April 4 - United States Orienteering Teams Fundraiser Sprint - The Pig Sprint. Very short race with 10-15 minute winning times. Burnet Woods, Cincinnati, Ohio. Sponsored by Get Lost!! Running, Racing Course Setter: Vladimir Gusiatnikov. 3 courses: white/yellow, orange/brown/green, and red/blue. It was a chilly but beautiful sunny morning.

Long Pig - Mt. Airy Forest : Sunday, April 5 - The Long Pig IOF "Long" Distance Event - Mt. Airy Forest, Cincinnati, Ohio. Course setter: Mike Minium. The storm front waited until the event was over and the controls all picked up. Among other photos here, motion-sensitive Stealth-cams were located at controls 184 (blue and green courses) and 170 (yellow, orange, brown and red courses).

Friday Night Dinner & Awards : A scrumptious dinner prepared by Heather Poast, a local trail runner, adventure racer and orienteer followed by awards for The Short Pig, and also recognition for the winning students and school teams in TROL, the Tristate Regional Orienteering League. We also were joined by Glen Schorr, the new Executive Director of the U.S. Orienteering Federation.
